Refund — cancellation from the guest
- 80% refund of full amount from time of booking until 31 days prior to booking start, minus credit card fees
- 50% refund from 30 days to 15 days prior to booking start, minus credit card fees
- No refund on bookings within 14 days prior to the booking start
Payment conditions
Payment is required to make the booking.
- Lessons reserved less than 30 days from the start date are invoiced for full payment. Booking is held only once paid.
- 30+ days prior: a 50% deposit is required to make the booking, paid by the date on the invoice.
- Balance due: the remaining 50% is due at least 30 days before the lesson/tour start date, except cash payments (due on the first day of service).
- If the balance isn't paid by the due date, PURE Academy reserves the right to cancel the service.
- Making the deposit or full payment confirms the reservation. Changes after that are not preferred and not guaranteed to be accepted.
COVID-19
- If COVID-19 restrictions prevent a guest from attending, no refund or credit is provided.
- If COVID restrictions prevent a lesson from operating, PURE Academy provides a full refund excluding credit card fees.
- Travel insurance covering COVID-19 loss is strongly recommended.
- No compensation for lost tour time due to injury/illness once guiding has commenced. With a valid medical certificate, a reschedule or refund of future lessons is possible.
Extreme weather event
If extreme weather causes the resort to cease operations, or the safety of the tour is at risk, we offer a reschedule or refund of the lesson/tour.
- A 100% refund (minus credit card fees) is available only at the manager's discretion, for lessons/tours that haven't started.
- A partial refund applies for the unused portion of a lesson/tour already underway.
- Not available if suitable terrain is available for the booked lesson/tour.
General
- All PURE Academy services are non-transferable and non-refundable outside the terms above.
- Guests must have valid travel insurance covering snowsports/outdoor-activity accidents or injuries.
- Payment of any amount constitutes acceptance of these terms.
- The person paying is responsible for informing the rest of the group of all terms/conditions/info, and is primarily liable for all fees for the entire group in case of cancellation.
- All products/services are subject to availability.
Lift passes
Not included in the price of lessons or guiding. Guests must purchase their own lift pass for the resort area used during the lesson/guided product.
Gear
Arrive in suitable gear for the activity, with a valid lift ticket, 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson/tour time. Lessons/tours start at the scheduled time and cannot be extended or rescheduled due to late guest arrival.
Travel insurance
All parties confirm they have valid travel insurance covering the snowsports/outdoor activity. Guests are responsible for their own medical expenses, including rescue fees, when accessing terrain outside resort boundaries.
Media
Top Xperience (operating as PURE Academy) reserves the right to use photos or video from lessons or instructors for marketing promotions.
Meet-on-snow
All services are based on meet-on-snow, or hotels with ski-in/ski-out access. Pick-up and drop-off carry an extra charge.
Pricing system
- On Peak: Dec 17 – Jan 9, and Feb 1 – Feb 14
- Off-Peak: Dec 1 – Dec 16, Jan 10 – Jan 31, and Feb 15 – Mar 15
- Spring: Mar 16 – end of season
